I am taking a 'Digital Computations' class right now, but it really should be labeled 'C++ for Beginners.' We're learning C++ and using Visual C++ to compile our programs - all on PCs.
I, however, own a Mac, and it is very annoying to have to go into lab every time I want to work on C++ homework. I've searched and searched and searched, but I can't seem to find any Visual C++ compilers that will run on a Mac OS. Does any such thing exist? Obviously, I'd like it to be as close to the PC program as possible - I am being graded on it, after all. And since it's only a semester long course, I really need it to be free, too. Can anyone help? Thank you very much! Powerbook G4 Mac OS X (10.3.9)
